Mercadito is a pop-up market open 3 days a week at the future site of the Westwood Food Co-op. Prices are suggested donation. Featuring a great selection of organic and local products at competitive prices!
Run by Re:Vision promotoras, Mercadito is the only retail source for healthy, fresh food in the Westwood neighborhood. Mercadito is also a pilot market for the Westwood Food Co-op, building capacity for a community-run grocery store.
During June through November, you can find produce from Re:Vision's urban farm as well as backyard gardeners throughout the neighborhood. Local food vendors frequently sell delicious heritage prepared foods, such as tamales, pupusas, champerada, grilled elotes (corn) and much more.
DOUBLE-UP FOOD BUCKS
Re:Vision accepts SNAP at Mercadito, and through a partnership with LiveWell Colorado called Double-Up Food Bucks, all SNAP purchases are matched 2x1!
